Bring your own tent or stay
in a cottage, bed & breakfast, motel or country inn. The surroundings
will be pleasing, the atmosphere charming. The Anchorage Provincial Campground and Hole-in-the-Wall Park are also equipped for motor homes and trailers. Most are ocean front or have
an ocean view. The remainder are usually in wooded locations, private and seldom far from the ocean. Air-conditioning is frequently just opening a window to let in
a cool sea breeze. TV's and telephones are optional. Most enjoy
the peace and quiet.
Book early and remember that the busiest times are mid summer and cottages book quickly. Prices for cottages range from $350 to $750 per week. Bed & Breakfast prices range from $39-79 per night (may or may not have private baths). Inn prices range from $59-125 per night (with private bath). Motel prices range from $59-85 per night. Camp site prices range from $18-24 per night. Some accommodations are only open seasonally, others year round. Some of those open year round have off-season rates. All prices are in Canadian dollars, excluding 13% tax.
